Acting (Ages 14-19) - Fall Term

Wednesdays Oct. 27 - Dec. 1 4:30pm - 6:30pm (4pm-6pm on Dec. 1)

Dive into drama games and exervises, including improv, physical and text work. Using scripts, break down and analyze text, develop individual characters, create a physcial world and connect with scene partners. Practice technique, voice and movement, scene study, and ensemble.

COVID Protocols -All instructors are double vaccinated. -Students 12+ must be double vaccinated. Please have proof of vaccination ready on the first day of classes, anyone 12+ without proof of vaccination will not be allowed in the building. (Medical exemptions will require a doctors note and a negative Covid text within 72 hours) Proof of vaccination will be checked on the first morning of classes outside. -Any adults entering the building must show proof of double vaccination -Masks will be worn at all times by all staff and participants (except when eating or drinking) -A screening attestation will be required by all staff and students before entering the building -One gender neutral single stall washroom will be open -Participants must enter and exit immediately before and after the class -Parents will not be able to wait inside during class -Students will enter through the box office doors, await clearance and proceed directly to their class -Students will exit only through the Studio theatre door -Classes are at the same time block, with a staggered start time to accommodate sign- in and safety -Classes are small for safety
