9:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Experience a combination of creating and performing! Develop characters, make up a story with your friends, and present for your loved ones! Led by professional artists, participants take classes in acting, dance, music, and play creation throughout the day and work together to create a play in a week. This fun, fast-paced program offers essential theatre experience for creative kids!

Monday to Thursday classes are held at the Theatre Aquarius Arts Education Centre located at 55 Wentworth St. South. On Friday, March 15, however, participants will spend the day at Theatre Aquarius' main theatre centre located at 190 King William St., where they will share their work with family and friends in the Studio Theatre beginning at 4:00 p.m.

During this 4-week theatre intensive, teens train in acting, physical theatre, voice, movement, musical theatre, play creation, and design, all instructed by professional artists. Together, participants create an original play, which they will perform for public audiences.

The camp is held at the Theatre Aquarius Arts Education Centre located at 55 Wentworth St. South. On the last day of camp, however (Saturday, July 27, 2019), participants will perform for public audiences off site. Last year included a presentation at the Hamilton Fringe Festival and Supercrawl!
